Chicken bhuna

Chicken bhuna is one of the most simple dishes to make, consisting of a supremely delicious and flavourful thick coating sauce which is not too heavy on the stomach.
Tastes best with fluffy basmati rice / butter naan.

TOTAL TIME: 30 mins

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken (boneless)(skinless) - 500 gms
Onions- 2 medium sized (minced) or chopped
Red chilli powder- 3/4th tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Tandoori masala -1 tsp (Click here to buy)
Coriander power-1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Vegetable oil- 3 tbsp
Preparation
Heat oil in a large, pan (or wok) and add the chopped onions. Stir and leave to cook over a medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
Once the onions have turned a golden brown colour, add Turmeric, Red chilli powder, Tandoori masala, Coriander powder and Garam masala. Stir and cook for about a minute.
Add the chicken to the pan and coat the pieces in the masala so it’s all nicely covered. Cook over a medium heat, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is tender and combined with the thick sauce.
Serve hot with basmati rice or naan!
