Quick And Easy Paneer Butter Masala recipe!

YIELD: 6 servings
TOTAL TIME: 45-60 mins
INGREDIENTS:
200 gms cubed paneer
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
4 tbsp oil
1 medium sized onion (chopped)
4 medium sized tomatoes (chopped)
Cashew nuts - 8-10
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 cup cream
1 stick butter
1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
2 tsp ketchup
Salt to taste
Food colouring (optional)
Few coriander leaves for garnishing (optional)
PREPARATION:
In a pan on medium heat, add oil.
Add cumin seeds and saute for 1-2mins.
Now add onions, ginger garlic paste, cashews, tomatoes and all the spices ( chilli powder, salt ,turmeric powder, crushed dried fenugreek leaves).
Cook till tomatoes are soft and mushy.
Then add 1 cup water and cook for 10 mins on low heat.
Switch off the flame and let it cool completely.
Add the mixture to a blender and add ketchup and sugar.
Blend till you get a smooth paste.
Heat 1/2 stick of butter in a pan and add the prepared paste.
Cook for 1-2 mins.
Then add fresh cream and mix well.
Now add the Cubed paneer to your paste and cook for 2-3 mins on low heat.
Add the remaining butter and switch off the flame.
Garnish with Fresh cream and coriander.
Serve hot with naan or paratha.
