Tangy Chicken Drumsticks

INGREDIENTS:


Marinade ingredients:

  • Hung curd: 2 tbsp

  • Ginger garlic paste: 1 tsp

  • Tandoori Masala (Everest): 1 tsp

  • Red chili powder: 1 tsp

  • Turmeric: 1/2 tsp

  • Garam Masala: 1/4th tsp

  • Salt to taste


  • Chicken drumsticks: 500 gms

  • Oil: 2 tbsp

  • Red chili sauce: 1 tbsp

  • Tomato sauce: 1 tbsp

  • Sichuan sauce: 1 tbsp

  • Worcestershire sauce: 1 tbsp (optional)

PREPARATION

  1. Make deep cuts on the chicken drumsticks and place in a shallow pan.

  2. In a separate bowl mix together marinade ingredients and coat the chicken well.

  3. Refrigerate for 30 mins (minimum) ; the longer the better.

  4. In a pan add 2 tbsp oil and add the well coated chicken drumsticks. Cover and cook on low flame till tender (about 15 mins)

  5. Increase the flame and add all the sauces mentioned.

  6. Cook on high flame if you want the chicken to be dry.

  7. Serve hot with pickled onions and fresh mint leaves.
